Bourbon BBQ – Made with Tennessee’s Green Brier Distillery bourbon, black pepper, smoked paprika, onion, and garlic. Rub it on pork, chicken, or brisket.

Chili Lime – Potent citrus notes with sweet and smoky ancho chili powder. Use with your choice of meat or veggies. (My friend Amanda uses this one by sprinkling over pineapple cooked in butter and served over black beans…whoa!)

Hot Chicken – You know hot chicken is Nashville’s dish, so I’m dying to make it with this blend. Made with garlic, cayenne pepper, and onion.

Porterhouse Steak – Classic steak seasoning. Can’t wait to try this on my Steakhouse Steaks!

Streamside Angler – Blackening seasoning for your catch of the day. Herbal notes, sweet paprika, onion, garlic, and fennel. (Hello crab cakes!)

I recently picked up the Hot Chicken seasoning to be part of a Nashville gift basket and was so sad I couldn’t keep it for myself! Personally, though, I’d absolutely try the Wrangler first. Like you said. CRAB CAKES.

Chili lime. I’d love to try the pineapple black bean dish you described but could use it for so many things! Fish, shrimp or chicken tacos come to mind. On of my favorite ways to use chili lime seasoning is to sprinkle it on slices of zucchini or summer squash and then grill it. Divine!

  • Annette December 19, 2014 at 10:16 pm

All the varieties look delicious, but the first one I’d try is the Porterhouse Steak.
